I created The Nintendo Index as a project for a high school website design class. After hours of hard work, The Nintendo Index first went online on May 30th, 2001 as a small geocities website. After several years of work, The Nintendo Index became a highly respected Nintendo fan site with a strong, stable readership containing over 600 pages of content.
Now unfortunately I must officially announce that The Nintendo Index will no longer be providing regular updates. This site will continue to exist by acting as an archived resource for Nintendo-related information. I would like to thank all the people that have come to this site on a regular basis. I would also like to thank the various people that have contributed to this site. Finally, extra special thanks go out to Xander, whose great work is littered throughout this site. For your viewing pleasure, we've complied a list of what we believe are the best games for the NES, SNES, GameBoy, GameBoy Advance and GameCube.
