Luigi
Player Guy Forever: Perhaps Nintendo believes that people want new things in games. I hope that you are not that upset Luigi. You are one of my favourite Nintendo characters!

Rare Rumblings
What is your opinion of Rareware's strange disappearance of Donkey Kong Racing and Donkey Kong: Coconut Crackers?
Geonosis
Player Guy Forever: For those of you who don't know, recently on Rare's website, two games were removed from the company's forthcoming projects listing. Those games were Donkey Kong Racing and Donkey Kong: Coconut Crackers. Those games were being developed for the GameCube and GameBoy Advance respectively.

Rare made an announcement stating that those games are still being developed and that the disappearance of those games from the list was a technical glitch. If you check that page now, you will see that the glitch still has not been fixed. I have reason to believe that those two games have been canceled indefinitely or have been put on hiatus.

One should also note that there was very little information given to the press about those games in the first place so it is possible that those games did not meet Rareware's standards.

However, I do believe that something is going on behind the scenes at Rare. For a company as large as them to only have 3 games in development (Star Fox Adventures is complete but still has to be localized for Japan) is very unusual. I believe that Rare is either developing games that have not been announced or they are planning to leave Nintendo as an excusive developer and go multiplatform.
