Mini-Review

For some reason, Yoshi's Island holds up much better on the Game Boy Advance than any of the other Super Mario Advance games, the other games look dated but Yoshi's Island, with its impressive water-colour graphical theme translates well to the small screen.

In Yoshi's island, you control Yoshi while Baby Mario rides on your back; therefore the game play is different from other 'Mario' games.

To not make this game feel like a total remake Nintendo created several all-new levels that can be unlocked by various means. This is an excellent welcome edition.

While being a remake, Super Mario Advance 3 still suffers from not being original but overall, it is still a good Game Boy Advance port.
