Viewtiful Joe is a 2-D action side-scroller. The game's emphasis is on hand-to-hand combat. Enemies are defeated buy using Joe's super powers. Joe can slowdown and speed up time as well as zoom-in on his enemies. This game boasts impressive visual effects and the cell-shaded look adds some class. This could be the most visually impressive 2-D game in history. But the bottom line is that Viewtiful Joe is an addictive current-generation action game that makes you nostalgic of the good old 8-bit and 16-bit days of gaming.
