Here is the premise, one player controls Pac-Man on the GBA screen while the other three players control one of the three ghosts on the TV. The players who are the ghosts can only see a small portion of the game map. The players controlling the ghosts get attempt to catch Pac-Man while Pac-Man tries to avoid them by eating all the pills. If a ghost player catches Pac-Man he'll play as Pac-Man the next round. A match ends once a certain player gets a pre-determined number of points. Players who are ghosts can get points by catching Pac-Man while players playing as Pac-Man can get points by eating pellets, or ghosts that have been altered by power pellets. This game does not have a single player mode; it requires at least 2 players.
While this game is technically inferior to almost every other game released on the GameCube, it is also one of the most fun multiplayer games to play. If you have a lot of friends that can play multiplayer, this game is a winner.
